The Short Track Showdown

The Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown was a fun-filled Late Model charity race that featured NASCAR stars battling some of the best local and regional racers at homegrown Virginia-based short tracks. The race served as a fundraiser for the Denny Hamlin Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis research at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. The Short Track Showdown was been held nine times since at the following race tracks: Southside Speedway (2008-10), Richmond Raceway (2011-13), South Boston Speedway (2014-15) and Langley Speedway (2018).
