The Denny Hamlin Foundation’s primary mission is to aid in raising awareness and funding for Cystic Fibrosis research and treatment and aiding chronically ill children with other debilitating illnesses.

Denny Hamlin Racing is a Late Model racing team that Denny races in various special events each year, including the Denny Hamlin Foundation’s Short Track Showdown at Southside Speedway (Midlothian, Va.).

BUTTER NC is a bi-level, 8,300-sq. ft. contemporary nightclub located at the new NC Music Factory in Charlotte, N.C. that brings a slice of NYC nightlife to the Uptown area. BUTTER NC boats eclectic decor, inspired cocktails, and the sounds of world-class DJs.

The Charlotte Bobcats, who became the NBA's 30th team when they joined the league in 2004-05, are owned by NBA legend Michael Jordan and play at Time Warner Cable Arena, where Denny enjoys games as a season ticket holder.

The Virginia Tech Hokies football team coached by Frank Beamer is a perennial college powerhouse of the Atlantic Coast Conference and played for the NCAA national championship at the 2000 Sugar Bowl. VT is located in Denny's home state of Virginia.

Denny's growing interest in golf as a leisure sport has led to a personal 12-handicap, friendship with PGA pro players like Bubba Watson, and participation in PGA Pro-Am events.
