The Denny Hamlin Foundation is racing to collect your vote! - 06.28.10

You can help the Denny Hamlin Foundation win up to $250,000 by simply “Liking” the Chase Community Giving program on Facebook.  Chase Community Giving is grant program inspiring a new way of corporate philanthropy by letting participants vote to help determine which small and local non profits will receive donations from Chase’s philanthropy funds.

The current round of the Chase Community Giving program is designed to benefit smaller and local charities by being limited to organizations with annual expenses of less than $1 million. The eligible charity with the most votes receives $250,000; the 4 runners]up receive $100,000 per charity; and the remaining eligible charities in the Top 200 will each
receive $20,000. More than $5 million dollars will be distributed to top vote getters. Chase is putting resources where communities throughout the United States need them most, and it is up to us to garner enough votes so that the Denny Hamlin Foundation can be one of the winning organizations.

This summer’s round has already begun – now is the time to cast your vote and spread the word about this opportunity to your friends and family and encourage them to support our cause. With a portion of Chase corporate philanthropy dollars, we will have the chance to further our mission partnering with organizations whose purpose is to research treatment and to provide care for individuals with Cystic Fibrosis. The Foundation also supports chronically ill children with other debilitating illnesses through wonderful organizations as St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital of Richmond, Virginia, Victory Junction Gang Camp and the NASCAR Foundation.

It is more important than ever that we take advantage of the amazing opportunity this program presents to the Denny Hamlin Foundation.  The power of giving is in your hands, help the organizations we support by placing your vote today.
